Not only was tonight's repertoire shorter than the one they had at the school ground on Wednesday, but so was Neesa chan's costume. I decided to let her wear a 'jinbei' rather than the normal 'yukata' worn during Bon Odori since she only has one 'yukata'. Besides, she was excited when she found out that Mariko had given her a pink 'jinbei' and could not wait to wear it. FYI it is not common for Japanese girls to wear a 'jinbei', what more during Bon Odori. Well, I like the idea of being abnormal. Neesa chan even wore a pair of baju kurung for her Bon Odori at the 'matsuri' last year! Tehehe... I realize one thing:it is much easier to don a pair of 'jinbei' than a 'yukata'. Will definitely buy a lot of 'jinbeis' as souvenirs for nieces and nephews :)
