And that was how we ended up in Sera Highland Farm. FYI it was our very first car trip on our own. Thank goodness for the navigation system, which we recently learnt how to use during a very short course (15 mins) albeit our total incompetence in the 'kanji' department. Tehehe...
We reached the sunflower field, 61km from our house,at around noon.
Had a picnic (I managed to fry some noodles and pack some drinks while Idhamu-san and Neesa chan were getting ready) under a tree before venturing out under the hot sun to be up close and personal with thousands of 'himawari'.
After one hour posing under the hot sun, we decided to call it a day. The weather was too hot that we decided to make a brief stop at a gelateria (complete with its own farm)on our way back for some ice-cream.
Neesa chan seemed to enjoy bonding with the cows, goats and donkeys more than the gelato treat.
(We really need to take her to a zoo. Poor Neesa chan seemed to miss her weekly trip to the Taiping Zoo when she was staying with Mak Tok)
