Another year,another strings of hopefully-able-to-fulfill resolutions.
Muharram is a special month for me not only because it marks the beginning of the Hijrah calendar but also a reminder that this is the month when I first became a mother. Motherhood was indeed a Hijrah for me, physically and spiritually.
Another physical Hijrah in my life will take place sometime this year. My other Hijrah (or should I say Hijrahs) will hopefully make me a better person than I am today. Top on my list will be learning to act and do things in moderation, a trait that is hard to stick by especially when it comes to shopping and eating...
